Our Mission
The mission of Cresset Farm Development Initiative is to provide stewardship of the land for the practice of biodynamic agriculture and to support educational, cultural, therapeutic and social activities centered in farm life.
Our Vision
CFDI will partner with the farm family to establish programs which will help to restore health and vitality to people, animals, plants and earth through the development of biodynamic farming. The farm family will lead the sales and marketing efforts for selling community supported agricultural shares (CSAs) and will work with CFDI to develop and lead the educational and social activities that are a focal point of community farms.
Our Core Beliefs
We believe that the care of the earth and of our environment through agriculture is essential for providing a future for coming generations. In addition, every urban family deserves to have a farm within close proximity. They create healthy food and clean water. We believe urban farms are essential for quality of life, because healthy farms create soil fertility through plant, animal and insect diversity.
